The Space · Your Ocean Retreat
Palm Rock is a place I've shaped slowly over the years, and you'll feel it the moment you arrive. The house was renovated in 2020, and in 2025 I added a natural pool and a sauna to bring the calm of the mountain and the ocean even closer. Everything runs on solar power and mountain water. My favourite spot is the yoga studio for reading or film nights, and the top deck for sunsets over False Bay.
You will have access to the entire house, including the yoga studio, top deck, pergola, outdoor shower, natural pool and sauna. The house is completely yours during your stay.

Built with intention
Renovated in 2020 with sustainability in mind, our eco amenities include composting, recycling, mountain water supply, solar heating and energy. Everything at Palm Rock has been designed and chosen to create integrated indoor-outdoor opportunities for reconnection with nature.
In 2022, we added an outside fireplace, a new outdoor shower and a pergola enveloped by indigenous plants. In 2025 came the natural pool and the outdoor sauna overlooking False Bay.

“We loved our stay at palm rock. The location could not get any better. We where steps from the beach and a 15 min walk to boulder beach (penguins!). We spent our time relaxing and doing yoga in the studio and taking dips in the ocean. One of our favorite restuants we ate at was Minari Korean Kitchen! We would absolutely recomend this place to familes and couples for a lovely get away.”

Palm Rock is best suited for adults. The property has steep walls, natural drop-offs, a natural pool and is next to the main road, which may not be ideal for young children. It's perfect for couples or small groups looking for a quiet place close to the ocean.

Palm Rock is let as a whole house, never by the room, so the rate covers all of it: three en-suite bedrooms, the studio, the sauna, the natural pool, the decks and the garden.
Returning guests get a reduced rate, and longer stays are negotiable. Booking direct avoids the platform service fee, so it works out cheaper for you than going through Airbnb.
